Anna’s FSU Graduation Photos at Westcott Fountain
This fall, I had the pleasure of photographing Anna’s graduation session at the iconic Westcott Fountain on Florida State University’s campus in Tallahassee. She booked the Basic Grad Package, which includes 30 minutes of shooting time and five final images; just enough time to capture the essentials while keeping things fun and relaxed.
We met on graduation day, which meant Westcott Fountain was buzzing with energy and excitement. The line for the popular FSU plaque and fountain photos was long, but I was able to snag our spot in line, so when our shoot time arrived, we were first up! Once it was her turn, we made the most of it, capturing classic cap and gown FSU graduation pictures that she’ll treasure for years to come.
Anna brought her sister along, and the two of them shared some sweet, candid moments in between the crowd. We moved around the fountain, exploring different angles and backgrounds that highlight why this spot is one of the most sought-after for FSU grad photos. The clear, cloudless sky added a warm glow to every shot.
At the end of the session, we took a few group photos of Anna with her classmates, who had all recently earned their master’s degrees. The matching white dresses they wore brought a sense of unity and celebration to the images. Despite the busy atmosphere, we captured genuine smiles and timeless portraits that reflected the spirit of FSU graduation day.
I was able to deliver Anna’s final gallery within just a few days, along with a few extra images as a small thank-you for being such a joy to work with! Her session was a perfect reminder of why I love being an FSU graduation photographer: every shoot is full of energy, pride, and a sense of accomplishment that deserves to be remembered.
