Ian’s FSU Grad Photography
This August, I had the honor of photographing Ian’s graduation session at Florida State University. His mom reached out after being referred by one of Ian’s friends, and the family made the drive up from Orlando to celebrate his summer graduation.
We started early in the morning at Westcott Fountain, which gave us the best of both worlds: beautiful morning light and cooler temperatures compared to the midday heat. Shooting at that time turned out to be a huge win because the usual graduation crowds had already cleared out. We had the freedom to move around without waiting in long lines, which made for a stress-free and memorable session.
What made this session extra special was the inclusion of his family. Ian’s mom and sister joined in for some heartfelt photos that will surely be cherished for years to come. His sister especially wanted a sibling photo! Those shots, along with the ones of Ian and his mom, brought so much warmth and meaning to the session. Ian’s mom booked the Basic Grad Package which came with 30 minutes of shooting time, one location, and 5 final images.
